What project are you working on?
I work as a diversity consultant in the ESF-funded FEM POWER II project. My position is based in the OVGU's Office for Equality and Family Affairs and at the Graduate Academy.
What are your responsibilities?
• Providing strategic advice to management, faculties, and central institutions on the structural
anchoring of diversity
• Developing a holistic concept for diversity consulting at the OVGU
• Supporting the diversity audit and coordinating the resulting measures in the fields of action.
• Designing and conducting workshops, counseling, and awareness-raising activities on diversity in
the university context.
• Establishing and maintaining internal and external networks on diversity issues
• Collaboration in the state-wide FEM POWER Vision network
What is your professional goal?
I would like to use my expertise in diversity, equal opportunities, and organizational change to support OVGU on its path to becoming an inclusive university—a university whose campus recognizes, values, and respects the different perspectives of all members of the university community.
