Networks & certificates
In 2006, OVGU was the first university in Saxony-Anhalt to undergo the berufundfamilie gGmbH auditing process and was successfully awarded the basic certificate. In 2010, the university management and the working group "OVGU & Family" underwent a re-audit. What had already been achieved was subjected to a critical review, and new goals were set. Until 2013, the OVGU carried the certificate "family-friendly university".
In 2014, the OVGU joined the Best Practice Club "Family in Higher Education". Members of the registered association are family-friendly universities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. By joining the association, OVGU gave itself a commitment to family justice - the "Family Code".
