When can I start studying part-time at OVGU? How and where do I have to apply for it?
Part-time studies can be applied for at OvGU if the student is unable to complete full-time studies for important reasons. In principle, all students can be admitted to part-time studies, provided that reasons are given. Approval is granted by the examination board responsible for the respective degree program.Important reasons to apply for part-time studies include: Family activities related to the upbringing of children up to the age of 18 and/or the care and support of sick family members and family members in need of assistance.
After approval of the part-time study program, the student will have a counseling interview with the faculty advisor responsible for the program. As a result of the interview, an individualized study plan shall be developed.
