Doing MINT

n eleven portraits on the trail of successful female MINT scientists at the University of Magdeburg. What do ants have to do with computer science? Why are female engineers multitalented and why is it worth doing mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, technology (MINT)? The exhibition presents eleven successful female scientists from these disciplines. They describe what fascinates them about their discipline, what appeals to them about scientific careers and what contribution they want to make with their research.

The exhibition shows the contribution of women philosophers from antiquity to the present day and illuminates the field of philosophy from a female perspective.

Still, and at all!

The exhibition shows 60 portraits of courageous and intrepid pioneers of the (natural) sciences who, despite all resistance, made their way into science and were often ahead of their time, including Dorothea von Erxleben, whose legacy the OVGU feels particularly committed to. Get to know the scientific achievements, groundbreaking experiments and the often forward-looking thinking of these scientists.
