2. What do I want to achieve with equality work?
- "Equal opportunities: motivation to demand them or to take them
- motivate young women to place themselves confidently in science
- Increase the gender and equality competence of university staff with the aim of deciphering (power/restraint) structures, enabling self-reflection and showing that everyone benefits from equal opportunity".
3. What would I give to new colleagues in the field of equal opportunities?
"1. Thank you for your commitment to equality
2. Even though you're committed to a "good cause," count on resistance.
3. Do not take the resistance personally, understand that equality means structural change, which first of all makes people afraid.
4. Reflect that each person also acts as a man/woman/inter/trans and can therefore feel attacked by equality contexts in his/her identity.
5. Reflect that, is sensitive and indulgent at this point and at the same time unyielding when it comes to equal opportunities."
